Fairly clean, decent place just next door to the cafe on the corner and the centre. Reasonably spacious rooms, a safe, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and a microwave.

We stayed 2 nights here, however it was a perfectly pleasant experience. Food for breakfast was great! Helpful staff, gave us good recommendations.

I had an excellent stay at Apartamentos. The location was perfect, just a short walk from Puerta del Sol and calle de Atocha. The studio was spacious and well-equipped. The manager was kind and allowed us to stay past the check-out time. I highly recommend this place for its great location and comfortable accommodations.

The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. The location was excellent with the main sights all a short walk away. It was furnished with everything we needed and we had a nice stay there. We especially loved the chocolateria right around the corner! I would stay here again the next time I am in Madrid.

The location was excellent for metros, shopping and priximity to museums etc. The basic essentials for cooking were in the kitchen, burner, microwave and fridge. It was very clean.

With no outside windows but windows on the inner core, it was hard to tell temperature and time of day. There was only a bed to sit on in the livingroom part but it was managable. There was construction on the building beside so noisy in the day but no problems at night, very quiet.

I was actually surprised by the location of the hotel, which turned out to be just a short walk away from the center of everything. The apartment had a good size and even included a refrigerator and stove, great to prepare our own meals. Despite some minor inconveniences like a bizarre shower and lack of bathtub, the overall experience was decent.

The location of the 'hotel' is fantastic. Other than that I have nothing good to say about it!

Luckily we called the ‘hotel’ prior to our arrival to confirm we would be arriving late, we were told to collect our keys from a near by bar as the office would not be open when we arrived )I believe it closes at 9pm). We wondered around for a couple of minutes trying to find said bar but luckily someone who works in the 'hotel' saw us and came to our aid. In my reservation I asked for the room to sleep 3 people but we were shown into a tiny room with 2 small single beds (that were extremely uncomfortable). We were finally given a third camping style bed and told we would have to pay and extra 25 euro a night for it. We stayed for 3 nights and did not have the room cleaned once. The beddings were never changed and we were not given any fresh towels during our stay. The standard of the room was very basic. Having a small sink, microwave, washing maching and 2 hob stove does not an apartement hotel make! The place should not be sold as an apartment hotel and the advertisement for it is highly misleading. Only book here if you are looking for budget accommodation with no frills.

This hotel was very well located and the well furnished (for the kitchen).

-The staff doesn't speak any other language they Spanish. Be aware. Also, it is very noisy because it's located next to a very busy street: Atocha. The bed were very had. Note that this is an apart and not an hotel. They don't clean or change the towels during your stay and they don't even give you extra towel paper. The cleanness of the hotel was ok, but not more.

The value for money at Apartamentos was great, and the room had all the necessary amenities. The location was convenient, close to attractions and shopping malls, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The food for breakfast could have been better.

Pros: Fantastic location 2-3 blocks off Puerto Del Sol and about 5 blocks from Plaza Mayor. Right in the middle of everything you could want in Madrid. No more than a 15 minute walk to Atocha, Palacio Real, Prado, Sofia Riena, Rastro, etc. Apartment was much larger than expected - big living room with trundle bed thingie, complete (but tiny) kitchen, nice-sized bedroom with large closet. Didn't use the washer but there was one there. Ac was nice to have after a hot day in the city. The apartment was clean and nicely furnished. We'd happily stay here again.

Cons: Lots of street noise because of location. Staff doesn't speak much English, and you should definitely contact them before you're due to arrive because the office didn't seem to be staffed all the time. There was a rather cryptic sign on the door about after-hours arrivals, so plan ahead and let them know when you're coming. Room wasn't cleaned during our stay, nor were we given fresh towels or sheets. I wouldn't want to cook a full meal in the tiny kitchen, but it did the job for cold drinks and making sandwiches.

The location of this apartment was amazing. Did not have to use any public transport as was a 10-15min max walk from all the must see sites. It was also lovely having an apartment as you had more space to relax in rather then being stuck in one room.

The office for the apartments is in a completely different building to where your staying. It is hard to find the reception building as the sign is so small and door is quite hidden.Staff did not speak any english which made things difficult yet dispite this still managed to communicate effectively and understand what they wanted and were doing through hand gesters/hand pointing and having a basic knowledge of the spanish language.

Great location, just a short walk away from major attractions and restaurants. The apartment was clean and quiet, providing a comfortable stay. The staff was accommodating, allowing us to do a late check-out and store our bags.

Poor communication and unresponsive to phone calls, which made it difficult to coordinate key handover. No reception or staff present, making it inconvenient for check-in and check-out.
